This Is Dog follows the efforts of a young girl to enter her dog into the Fancy Dog Show. Her dog, however, is greener and chompier than most dogs. Not everyone appreciates Dog's differences, including the snooty administrator. With the support of his best friend, however, Dog is able to enter the agility race and comes out on top. In the end, everyone comes to see that there really is no dog quite like Dog.

They convince their friends to enter a band competition with them, but fail to actually lead the group where it counts. After a week of differing disasters, the band falls apart.
